Is it okay to use TALC as a setting powder? Does it work as well as TRANSLUCENT powder?

I personally have never used talc as a setting powder, so I can’t tell you what the advantages might be. But I can tell you that translucent setting powder is made for the sole purpose of setting makeup and is also made to be put onto your face without irritation, whereas the talc might either irritate or dry out your face. Try experimenting with another translucent powder that is white as well so that you achieve the desired look, without possibly irritating the skin. But if the talc has worked fine for you, and hasn’t left you dried out or with any other problems I don’t see why you can’t continue using it.
