I think whether two people marry or not should depend on how much they love and understand each other. Whether they are like-minded, are able to communicate without hassles and share a common vision for a future together. No two people, even if they are both Indians, can be totally alike, so I don’t think the non-Indian part is that important. But if the interest in the other person is only because he/she is Indian, then it doesn’t seem like a healthy relationship. Having said that, I think you’d be better off marrying someone who likes your family, culture, and traditions rather than someone who doesn’t. Hope this helps.
