Is it OK to use alternative and/or complementary therapies during radiotherapy treatment?

Please check with your doctor before taking any ‘alternative remedies’ such as vitamins, supplements, herbal medicines, naturopathy treatments. The use of ‘complementary’ treatments such as yoga, meditation, and acupuncture can be beneficial to treatment but should be discussed with your Radiation Oncologist. If you are considering having a massage please check with your Radiation Oncologist first.
