I’m on my second day of alcohol withdrawal and am having periodic panic attacks, nearly constant anxiety, and a rapid heart beat–which comes in waves. I’m twenty-seven years old and otherwise healthy. Lying in bed all day has worsened the already-occurring insomnia and I feel I need to exercise.
