babys usually needs feeding around 2-4 hours, every baby is different, just get a bottle ore put your finger in his mouth, and if he suck s it, that means hes hungry, if hes loosing weihgt too, thats a concern, just call his doctor if you have any questions

My son has slept throught he night and gone 8 hours in the night without a feeding since he has been born. I panicked and was constantly calling the doctor who told me to let him sleep in the night and wake him every 3-4 hours for a feed during the day. Some babies can go longer between feeds and it is ok, but during the day make sure you wake to feed. My son now is 7 months old and goes 11 hours at night and eats every 2 hours during the day, a bottle every 4 and some solids at the 2 hour mark. So his schedule is 8:00-bottle, 10:00 cereal-and so on. He tends to take a bottle when it is nap time or bed time.
