potatoes grow well in acid soil that has suffered from sulfuric rainfall (from high-sulfur coal utilities in the 50’s), so the acidity of that fertilizer shouldn’t be a problem…if youre sure its a magnesium deficiency, though, just add a little epson salts with your regular fertilizer…
