That’s where the real danger lies. As for getting sick, switching between liquor or wine and sugary mixed drinks might mess up your stomach, but it’s okay if you’re careful. As I said, the biggest danger is losing track of how much you’re consuming, because it comes in different forms. I would suggest doing the hard liquor first, if you feel you have to do this. The reason is that after you switch out to beer or wine, it’ll be harder to overdrink. If you did beer or wine first, then switched out to hard liquor, you’d probably consume at the same rate as before and really overdo it.
