Is it ok to create a facebook.com account for a non-profit organization?
After reading the terms of service, my sense is that facebook will only allow accounts to be created for real people, and that any account that represents a company or a non-profit will be removed. Therefore, the best way to promote a cause in facebook is through one of their many applications or by starting up a group.
