Is it o.k. if children (ages approximately 6 to 12 years) to offer their prayers without Wudu?

Some parents feel that Wudu is unnecessary for kids and sometime for themselves as well. Please elaborate. A 6. Wudu is mandatory for Salat. The necessity of Wudu for Salat is mentioned in the Qur’an (5:6). The Prophet -peace be upon him- said, “There is no Salat for him who has no Wudu.” We must teach our children to make Wudu for Salat. Children under the age of seven should be told about Wudu, but if they pray without it, that will be acceptable, butfrom the age of seven, Wudu should be emphasized and from the age of ten, it is a must. For adults it is unacceptable to make prayer without Wudu. In prayer we stand before Allah, we should appear to Him in the way He told us to appear.
