Is it nornal for moles to become raised and itchy during pregnancy?
No. That is never normal. When moles become raised, especially if they are larger in diameter than a pencil eraser, have irregular edges, or have a change in coloring, it is a warning sign of melanoma. Check the moles again for yourself, and if they fit the ABCD criteria, go see your doctor for an evaluation. The melanoma won’t harm the baby… and it might be totally harmless to you too… but better safe than sorry.
