Is it normal to not have any pregnancy Symptoms at 18 weeks?
Miscarriage is most common within the first trimester, but of course you can always have a loss, sadly. It is normal for symptoms to lessen as the pregnancy progresses and it’s normal for them to get worse. Everyone is different. You should be able to feel some movements soon, so that should ease your mind, but if you ever feel there is something wrong, don’t feel silly about booking an appointment with your Ob to get checked out. If you know anyone who has one of those heartbeat monitors, see if you can borrow it. Sometimes they’re hard to use (finding the heartbeat can be difficult sometimes which makes you panic) but once you do hear it, you feel better. The baby is big enough to feel wriggles for most people by this time…if you’d like to spur the sproglet on, try drinking some cold juice and have a cookie, then relax on the couch/in a comfy chair/in bed for a little while…perhaps you’ll feel the baby move. I hope everything is ok!
