Is it normal to have pinkish discharge at 7 weeks of pregnancy?

I am approximately 8 weeks. I have yet to see my OBGYN and it is scheduled for next Wednesday. I freaked out this morning when I went to go pee. As I stood up I noticed a clear fluid with light blood in the bowl. I also noticed some red on my used tissue. I called into the Dr’s line to see if I can speak to someone or be seen sooner. I just received a call back from the office and they reassured me that this was completely normal. With this being my first pregnancy I cannot help but worry. Problem is I cannot be seen till my appointment bc the Drs and offices are all booked. I’m trying to calm down and not worry but for the past 2 weeks I have been struggling with a cough and have not taken a thing except for natural cough drops. Hoping for the best!
