Is it normal to be depressed after a drug induced psychosis?
Hey, Good thing you Friends me, because what your experience is an exact duplicate of what happened to me. Only difference is that ive been in recovery for 9 months. Which leads me to my point, i too felt extremely depressed and felt very unable to socialize with people even until the 7 month point, i was always comparing how i felt to the time i was high on marijuana. During my smoking marijuana, i was also very very full of energy, very talkative and very interesting person to be around, but i was also very quite a couple of days before being sectioned. I too believed i had special powers, i believed i was Jehovah himself come back to save humanity. Needless to say that wasn’t the truth. But i was told something by my psychiatrist, he told me not to compare how i am while im depressed to days where i was High, because we are in an imagined state of mind, and most likely nothing will make you feel like that again unless you decide to go back to the marijuana ( i advice against that).
