I think it’s normal. Sure not all the words are actually sung with the accent but I listen to country music 24/7 & even though I have a slight southern accent (or so I’ve been told) there are some words I’ve been known to say due to listening to certain songs….Like Fishin’ in the Dark (where the crick turns back) I’ve said crick a couple of times & if you listen to Garth Brooks enough you’re bound to let a few “favor-right”s slip….he says that instead of favorite when he’s singing.

What is your question?
