Is it normal for immigration at US airports to be extremely rude?
Over the past 38 years I’ve gone ‘home’ to the US quite a few times and have always been greeted by some great, fat, lower-lip-stuck-out moron in immigration who simply can’t stand the idea that I’ve chosen to live elsewhere in the world. But, there was one sweet exception on my last visit – a kind, smiling and helpful man behind the desk who even cracked a joke. And it was a funny one too! He’s probably been sacked by now.
