IQ is not based on age. IQ is the result of scoring on an IQ test. THERE ARE NO IQ TESTS ON THE INTERNET. Anything you see that says it’s an IQ test is a sham. Real IQ tests are highly guarded by the professionals who give them, in order to preserve their validity and reliability. An IQ of 112 is in the normal or average range of 180 to 120. 2/3rds of people who take IQ tests fall in that range. It IS normal for an 8 year old to have an IQ of 112.
