Is it normal for a kitten to sleep all day?
Kittens, like all baby animals and people too, need lots of sleep. She may have just tired herself out yesterday. She might be having a lazy day. Just keep an eye on her over the next few days. Watch that she is eating and using the litterbox as she has been. If she continues to be inactive, and especially if eating habits change, then you want to take her to the vet. My cat just went to the vet today because she became completely inactive and had mostly stopped eating. Turns out she has a little respiratory infection so she can’t smell very well right now which explains the not eating. If a cat can’t smell its food, it won’t generally eat. But she has some medicine now, and I’ll be keeping an eye on her. So, it could be as simple as that if you do end up having to take her to the vet. For now, though, I wouldn’t stress over one day.
