Is it normal for a baby to get a rash when teething?
A teething rash can show up on the jaw area, around the chin, mouth and even down to the child’s neck. It is usually combined with excessive drooling and maybe even a slight fever. If you child comes up in a teething rash there are many creams available from your local pharmacy that can help to clear the rash up. A barrier cream or Vaseline around the mouth can be used to protect the skin to prevent any further spread or damage caused by the rash. Most creams require you to clear and clean the effected area with a damp cloth before applying the creams.
