Is it NO baths, or no HOT baths when pregnant?

You don’t want a hot bath. It is the same reason why pregnant women cannot go into sauna, hot tubs or other hot watery places. It only takes 15 minutes in hot water to start doing damage to your baby. Water that is too hot will cause your baby’s temperature to increase, heart rate to become erratic and can bring on labor. In the UK, having a bath is the norm. To tell if the bath is the right temperature, stick your elbow in. If it feels comfortable and you elbow doesn’t look red when you pull it out of the water, then the bath is good to bathe in.
