Is it necessary to use both TRAINER (T4K™) soft and hard?

Yes. It is better to follow the 2-phase system. However there are times when the malocclusion is minor and use of only the hard T4K™ is OK. When there is only a myofunctional problem just the soft T4K™ can be used. The majority of cases require the 2-phase system.
