Yes, the reproductive health needs of adolescents as a group have been ignored since long. More than half of the world’s people are below age 25 and about a third are between 10 and 24 years of age. These young people are not provided with authentic and accurate knowledge regarding heir physical and emotional development, particularly during the period of adolescence when sexual development starts in them.
