Is it necessary to remove an older version of Norton 360 before installing the latest version??
The best way of installing any Norton product, including Norton 360, is to uninstall any antivirus programs that are installed, and then to install the latest version of Norton 360. Keep in mind that if you obtained your Norton 360 through the Norton Update Center, when you install the update, it will remove your previous Norton 360 product and apply the subscription information to the latest Norton 360. In any way, the previous version is being removed before the new one is installed.
