Answer OIL PUMP REMOVAL Remove the oil pan and pick-up tube. Refer to the procedure in this section. Remove the timing chain cover. Refer to the procedure in this section. Remove the timing chains and tensioners. Refer to Timing Chain and Sprockets in this section. Remove the four bolts, primary timing chain tensioner and the oil pump.
