It depends on the wedding. If your wedding is going to be a smaller, more casual one, printing the envelopes should be fine. If your wedding is more formal, formal etiquette dictates handwritten envelopes, either by you, a family member, or a professional calligrapher. In the end, it’s your wedding and I doubt the people you want to be with you to celebrate your special day will really care if your envelopes are handwritten or printed.
