Is it necessary to cover the evaporator fully when applying AC Odor Shield, for the result to be effective?
The more coverage, the better the result will be. However, AC Odor Shield helps expand protection beyond the area originally sprayed, by “fanning out” as it cures. This fanning out is similar to the way that frost spreads outward in a crystal lattice as it freezes on a window pane. This creates an additional zone of inhibition that extends out from the edges of the areas actually covered by AC Odor Shield.
