Is it more efficent to sell LPs and books on specialist sites than ebay?
Well depending on how you prefer to be paid you have several options, Ebay is great considering the amount of people that are usually looking for a wide range of products. Especially considering Ebay was created to find rare and hard to find items, such as collectibles and your LP/Book’s; they still have quite a few people buying them. Alternatively you can use something like craigslist.com if you would like to sell in a local area, putting out a classified or an ad in the newspaper is always a good option as well and it’s usually free or very cheap to do. Odds are you will find someone interested, or someone will notice it and pass it to someone who might be interested. I find it best to diversify your options, use all the resources you can to sell quickly and effectively. It’s difficult to rely on one source if you have a large collection and it’s best to spend a little more time listing what you have for sale, rather than not getting enough interest.
