Tear-offs create high labor costs and increase waste-disposal costs. In addition, tear-offs increase the amount of waste in landfills. Gaco RoofFoam and coating systems cover many defects in existing roofs, making expensive tear-offs unnecessary (as long as the substrate is fully adhered). Roofs with extensive damage, blistering or large holes may still require a tear-off before foam installation. Consult a Gaco Western technical expert for information on your specific roof.
