Yes wedding cupcakes can be cheaper. Cupcakes are $1-$2 and cakes may run $4-$6.Bakers amy not like the extra work since each one has to be iced and decorated. another trouble is the bride and groom cutting the cake wouldn't be optional.To solve this, have  a small wedding cake made. Traditonal wedding cakes areirreplaceable but it is amatter of personal preference and budget.Look at the pros and cons.
