Is it mandatory to participate in the summer programs in order to play during the regular school season?
High School athletics is very competitive and requires an ongoing effort by coaches and student-athletes to build skills, communication and teamwork. In order to do so, expectations dictate that student-athletes must be present whenever team practices and activities are being held. The summer season is the building grounds for these necessary traits. Expectations on summer participation vary from program to program due to the wide range of activities scheduled during the summer months. Direct communication with the Head Coach is very important, especially when involving specific family related issues.
