Is it LEGAL to remove the siteground logo from their Free Joomla 1.5 Templates?

Legal in the sense that they wouldn’t send you to jail for removing them. Whether they would sue you is doubtful. I went to the fine print, and the only thing they say about their logos is “All trademarks, product names and company names or logos used by SiteGround are SiteGround property or the property of their respective owners. No permission is given by SiteGround to you or an affiliate to use any such trademarks, product names, company names, logos or titles, and you acknowledge that such use is an infringement of the owner’s rights.” Ordinarily in such situations, they specifically state that in return for using the product you agree to maintain the logos. I couldn’t find anything of that nature. The first website I put up, I used a template provided by the hosting company. Removing their logo was the first thing I did.
