Legal or not, you shouldn’t get one anyway. Monkeys are not pet animals. It’s like having a human child for a long time, except this child can climb everywhere and destroy everything and mangle your face. They’re very intelligent wild animals that have no business living in a house.

Nope it is illegal unless you have the proper licenses and permmits to own one. Besides Monkeys would not make a good pet, all the poop around the house and you wouldn’t believe the mess that it would make.
