Sorry kinda new to these answers and here in the states the laws are different. My aunt is a hairdresser and has been for many years and yet this situation to me however seems legal, but it doesn’t seem fair in the workforce. Seems like you are the only one running the hair salon right now and usually if they hire someone new you would become the senior for being there for so many years unless they hire someone with more expirence. You should talk to your boss about the whole situation and tell him that you feel you are being overloaded with work and find out what exactally is going on.
