Is it legal to drive a forklift on the street?
Basically everything I can find says that califorina deems that a forklift is a vehcile that is exempt from registeration, and that it is to be used off road (i.e on private property) However, they state that for the pourpose of loading and unloading matierials (i.e. the forklifts intended pourpose) that you can drive up to a distance of 1/4 mile on a public road / highway.
