Is it just me or does anyone else miss MTV playing actual music videos all the time?

Yeah I do! I really used to “want my MTV” all the time! I miss Alan Hunter and Martha Quinn and the “hip clip of the week” and most of all the music, all day and night! I think they may as well take the “M” out of it now or go back to the way it was in the rockin’ “80s!

I liked MTV when I could turn it on during the middle of the day and be liable to actually find a rock music video that I liked. That was back in the mid 90s when they would routinely play Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, etc. Once the late 90s rolled around, MTV started to change big time with the pop-music explosion. MTV lost a lot of popularity with me when that happened. Now today MTV hardly plays music on it’s main channel, or MTV 2 to begin with. And personally I don’t watch MTV, and I don’t really care to watch it either. Especially nowerdays when I can watch all most any music video I want with use of the internet.
