Outward bound programmes are great for a whole range of reasons, but Columba 1400 runs leadership programmes – these are very different from an outward bound programme. A week in Columba comprises of around 18% outdoor pieces and 82% participative and reflective workshops. To use the common phrase of participants “To think this week is a holiday would be a mistake. It is an inward bound programme”. Leadership is about your self, other people and the culture you participate in.
