Is it in the spirit of the festival to give up Christianity for Lent?

0

christians got lent from the ancient pagan Chaldean worship of Ishtar the wife of the Sun God BAAL,ishtar is where they got the word easter from,Ishtar is Easter.Jesus did not follow a lenten period, neither did the disciples, its NOT IN THE BIBLE!.the people who dont think about what they are believing in,those that just believe something because they were born into and raised in a particular religion so to them it must be true,do not do much research into what exactly they are believing in.Did you know they got all that painted eggs and hot crossed buns at Easter from a pagan culture aswell?,the pagans used the eggs in a ritual to honor the so called creator of Athens 1,500 years before Jesus.Man all this lent and Easter stuff is PAGAN in origin, its all borrowed and is not Christian, they just accept it all and blindly follow the pagan rituals believing it to be christian.Yes my friend,in the spirit of the true meaning of Lent it is in the spirit of the festival to give up christianity,
