Is it important for NQTs to have an induction action plan?
Yes, statutory induction arrangements require that every NQT has an individualised induction action plan that identifies their objectives, together with the support that is planned for them. This information should be recorded, using an appropriate format. The format may be one that the school uses for other purposes, for example performance management or NQTs and induction tutors may prefer to select/adapt the action plan format on this website. Induction tutors and NQTs may also wish to refer to further guidance on reviewing progress and writing action plans on the TTA induction website.
