Of course, all of this would be subject to whether he has any actual evidence that shows you did this. If not, then it’s just his word against yours. If the police did not see you do it, they will be hesitant to charge you with anything, and probably try to encourage you and the homeowner to settle your differences yourselves. If he does press charges, the DA will only charge you with a crime if they feel the crime can be proven by the physical evidence from the scene, witness testimony, and any types of video or photographic records.
