Is it illegal to loiter around a store?
Loitering is hanging out outside of a store. Some people like to hang out outside of gas stations, or small pizza places and stuff. Browsing is looking through a store seeing if you like anything. Its not illegal, but you arent allowed to do it at certain places with certain rules. If loitering is not allowed, theyll typically have a sign outside the window that reads “NO LOITERING” or “NO LOITERING, REQUESTED BY MANAGER” or something along those lines. If, for some reason, you are hanging outside of a store that doesnt have a sign and you get lectured, simply apologize and drive home.
