Yes it is absolutely illegal. They usually ship as ‘tomato’ seeds… and usually come from Canada. Or did when I knew people who were into such things.. may have shifted focus over the years. This is the thing, if you get caught, it will be just as if you had a joint… but worse because they can turn that into intent to manufacture and distribute. You should get yourself a magazine like High Times and really think about it quite carefully before you get into the greenhouse business. It isn’t that easy to grow, and it is quite expensive. The plants themselves create an odor that is hard to mask and in some areas, electricity spike (which you’ll get with the lamps) is automatically investigated. I think the substance is pretty darn harmless overall, but I also think it take a lot of know how and a lot of good luck to ever get away with growing it.
