Is it healthier to put honey in my tea or equal sugar?
I’m a foodie and my personal preference would be to go with the honey- raw, wild, honey. Yes, it has some calories but it also has some nutritional value in terms of antioxidants and minerals. The jury is still out on the safety of Equal aka Aspartame. I thank you for the question because it has sparked me to do more research on the various sweeteners out there. I also currently use pure maple syrup, agave syrup, and pure cane syrup. My mission is to avoid corn syrup since that makes me feel ill. And believe me it’s not easy. Because corn syrup is so plentiful and cheap, food and beverage manufacturers put it in and sneak it in just about all processed foods.
