Is it Harry Potter’s fault Sirius Black dies?
Bellatrix is the one who utters the Avada Kedavra, but Sirius wouldn’t even be dueling with her if it wasn’t for Harry, so I ask again: is Harry to blame? Harry sure does seem to think so. Even after Dumbledore insists the blame lies solely with himself, Harry is not fully convinced. This seems to be the pattern with our hero: he does something brave, someone dies, and he blames himself for it. In the case of Cedric Diggory, it wasn’t Harry’s fault. Sharing the Triwizard cup was not so much an act of foolish bravery as it was good sportsmanship.
