• About 22 years ago, I was in a car accident and one of my injuries was to the head. Doctors thought I had a small fracture to the skull but they never did anything to it and that was it. I did not lose consciousness during or after tha accident nor did I have a wound. Just the bruise. Later, I heard some people say that big blows to the head can cause brain tumors, and ever since, this comment has been in the back of my mind. Any truth to this? I really have no symptoms, but whenever I get a headache and it is around the area where I had that injury (back left part), I think about it. • How do you know if you have a brain tumor? I have a big bump, on the left side of my head. When I touch it, my head begins to hurt (mostly temples). Now and then, I get pains in my head. Sharp pains. I do not know what to do. My mom will not take me to the doctor. I am only a teenager (15). I am very scared. If you have any information, please feel free to contact me, my e-mail is listed. I know I did
