But with that said … I think it is probably easier for most right-handed batters to hit a home run to left field in Fenway than in most other major league parks. That is especially true when a left-hander is pitching, as a pull hitter just needs to get under the ball and hit what would be a long fly out in most other parks. I wanted to find some statistics to back this up, but either I couldn’t ask the right question in Google or (more likely) I just didn’t want to start doing the research. But here’s a methodology that might work: 1. Look up right-handed power hitters who played most or all of their games in the American League (and didn’t play for the Red Sox). 2.
