Is it hard to text with the blackberry pearl?
The Pearl is great for some things but it is horrible to text with. You have to combine an ability to use a Qwerty keyboard with the thought required for predictive text., ie. remembering what you’ve typed so far as the word keeps changing. The worst thing is that there is no single key press to switch off predictive text like there is on other phones. Also on other phones I have had I could type a word then press a key to add another attached word so if I wanted to type ‘fluffybunnies.com’ I could type ‘fluffy’ press a button then type ‘bunnies’ if you see what I mean, I can’t with the Pearl. Given that you will want to type web addresses which aren’t words in the dictionary it will drive you mad until you get used to it. Also the camera is woeful. I’m hooked on Blackberrys now but I want a Curve.
