Is it hard to get into university in Australia?
There are two ways of getting into University in Australia: 1. You get the minimum mark required to get to a particular course in that University. This means getting the grade required. 2. If you don’t reach the minimum required grade to get into the course, you can ‘bribe’ your way into the course by paying a FULL FEE. What it means, you’ll be paying as much as 3 times the university fee that you’d pay if you get in normally (i.e. passing the grade requirement). Universities in Australia have always had Full Fee paying for International Students and 3 years ago they’ve opened up this option for Australian who are keen to get into the course that they want but couldn’t pass the minimum grade required.
