Is it hard to get an A in AP U.S. History?
A. Not necessarily. However, students have to work hard for their grade. For many students, earning an A grade has not necessarily been challenging. However, in an AP course, grading standards are higher than what many students have encountered in their past. AP courses subscribe to the idea that an A means excellent; in this system, merely fulfilling the objective of the assignment (or, in other words, meeting the standards that are expected) is what is consideredaverage, or a C. Merely answering a question correctly on homework, for example, is insufficient to earn an A.
