Is it good to seed back a torrent after downloading it?
Firstly, as long as it’s an illegal torrent, there will always be a chance you could get caught. You don’t have to seed back everything you download, but it raises the trackers’ opinions of you. People who don’t seed get lower speeds, and sometimes get cut off from those trackers completely. If you’re caught by your ISP, they’ll most likely give you a warning- They don’t want their customer to stop being able to pay them because the customer got sued. And probably, the longer you seed, the more chance there is you’ll get caught too.
