Is it good to be ambitious?
Ambitious is good because nothing gets done without ambition. Somebody with no ambition is somebody who is making no money. Every business wants to make money so an ambitious person will help any business reach their objective, which is making money. Being too ambitious can be bad because it creates a competitive work environment and not every one of your coworkers is going to take it too lightly. Many people feel threatened when they have coworkers who are more ambitious then them because it means that they have to work hard too or their boss may think they are lazy in comparison to the ambitious worker. Some people get paid hourly, and they may want more money which means more hours. If the job gets finished quickly, they will not get paid. If they take their time with a job, they can stay later at work and maybe get overtime. When 2 people are working on a job together and getting paid hourly, it can cause some problems if one person wants to slow the job down just to get paid more
