Is it fair to stop or forbid circuses from having elephants – so many love to see them?
Yes, we believe that it is immoral and unjust to allow elephants to suffer just so they can entertain us. It is wrong to keep alive a tradition that we know is torment for the participants. At the same time – we don’t think very many kids or adults would visit a circus if they new how much the elephants suffer.
